Venue

The venue for the 15-16 Jun 2024 event is:

The University of East London
Great Hall
Water Lane
London
E15 4LZ

Please use the entrance on Romford Road.

Admission is by ticket only. Tickets must be pre booked on Eventbrite, and are not available on the day. Adding an RSVP to the MeetUp group is not enough as we need to share the Eventbrite list with the venue.

The venue is not open overnight and you will need to make your own arrangements for overnight hacking or sleeping.

The nearest station is Maryland on the Elizabeth Line and it’s an easy walk. It’s also perfectly walkable from Stratford Station which is just ten minutes away. The benefit of using Stratford Station is that it’s served by five lines:

• Elizabeth Line
• Central Line
• Jubilee Line
• Docklands Light Railway
• London Overground – Mildmay Line

High speed rail services between St Pancras and Kent stop at Stratford International Station just north of Westfield Shopping Centre. You can travel in either direction from St Pancras to Stratford International using an Oyster card or contactless card. Travellers to and from stations in Kent will need a regular ticket.

There are also eighteen bus routes serving Stratford bus station.

Routes 25, 86, 308 and 425 all pass directly along Romford Road.

The best stop (eastbound) is labelled “Water Lane University of East London – Stop MK”.

If you’re travelling westbound on routes 25, 86 or 425 then the nearest stop is “Atherton Leisure Centre”.

Route 308 goes southbound along Water Lane before turning right onto Romford Road. Aim for “UEL Stratford Campus – Stop MR” just outside the Great Hall.
